Teen dies inside locked E36

Every one of my cars that I've owned have been able to use the horn without the key in the ignition. All 5 subarus, 2 Z's, 1 Acura, 2 Volvos and a Beetle.

well I only owned Euro's and few American cars I think my Impala would honk without a key lol....?

But I call this BS... Every damn school parking lot has a guard or a off duty officer I couldn't even smoke cigs at my school! I dough that no one heard her kicking or screaming... Cant happen I call BS!


PLUS if she was 14-16 it would take more then a school day for her to die... I say there's way more then we are reading to this story...

No such thing on an E36. The door pin falls flush with the door card when its locked and is proud when unlocked. I was under the impression the pin comes up when you pull the lever from the inside therefor unlocking the door.

But what high school girls at this age doesnt have a phone? Or a voice to scream? Could she not find something in the car to smash a window. I bet my ipod classic could shatter a window. You could probably crack the window with the buckle from the seat belt and work from there.

e36 actually have a common electrical issue that cause the doors to "lock out"

So the E36 deoesn't have a door lock pin that you can manually pull up to unlock the door?

my everyday carry knife is a SOG escape. it has a seat belt cutter and a glass breaker tip. would have been handy here
