It's not so much the gold, as it is the wire tuck and gorgeous ITB setup. The gold definitely has something to do with it, though, but I can't steal Gold Wheels' thunder.

Plus I'm going with a Champ White body + Candy Apple Red wheels setup for my Si. Gold wouldn't fit so hot into the equation. Will probably stick with red for the engine bay, too.

After looking at the colors next to one another, yes.

Keep the red for the exterior/interior accents (taillights, wheels, seats, etc.) and then gold-electroplate everything that can be electroplated in the engine bay.
