Really i thought their was more different then that and the tail lights.

biggest difference between them is the driveline, R31 has a more powerful engine and the whole driveline is designed to support more power, so gearbox, diff, drive shafts are all stronger

R31 can also have the VL Turbo kit bolted on and make good power easily
