Christmas kicked my ass this year financially. Lots of people to buy gifts for and we were closed the whole week before Christmas.

I wish Christmas was more about seeing family and eating food. I could do without the whole gift thing anymore. You get to a point in your life where things you need/want are too much to ask as gifts.

I am pretty much at that point.

That would be my boss.

He came here from Sicily in '76 and has built a hell of an empire for himself.

Started out with a pizzeria, then came a car wash, storage units, catering business, and who knows what else he will get into in the future.

He came to an area that had nothing so it all kind of fit in. For someone who didn't finish high school, he is a genius when it comes to running a business and making money.
