I have another week of it ahead of me, and then I have to go home to a fucking war zone.

Start saving for an apartment. Live out of your car. Be homeless. There are always options.

You're a smart kid, you know that college is not all parties and drinking. I spent my last two years in college working 40+ hours a week, going to school full time, and trying my best to throw a pile of a Honda together between it all. A lot of sleep was 4 hours for me, and forget seeing any of my friends.

So, yeah. Some of us get it.

Working on a project that totals over 2 billion dollars worth of infrastructure, we are way be hind on our submission for Monday (not going to happen) and we will be under the deadline gun till June.


I remember back when I thought school projects were the end all/be all.

It's different when it's your actual ass on the line for your job and income. I count my blessings with my job that allows me to sneak in here every now and then between reports or duties, but truth be told, I'm fucking buried most days. And, if my shit isn't done, I'm out in the cold with no pat on the back.

I'm in a project office, which we share with the Client, The Owner, and all the disciplines that all work for differenet companies. It can get crazy, I should not even be on here jabbering to you guys, but I'm sick of doing work and I'm here for another 4 hours if I'm lucky.

I have not seen my car in daylight in 2 weeks.

I'm pretty sure its really dirty but its hard to tell.
