Proper posture? Cuts down on visits to the chiropractor, I suppose. I keep my OEM seatback at roughly a fixed-back level of lean, and I find it really helps on longer trips when a more laid-back angle would start to fuck up my back, as I do not really have good posture.

I find them very comfortable for short times( and awesome for what their designed for). But after about an hour, they get painful for me. The basically 90 degree fixed backs, not the more relaxed ones. I'm not really complaining though, as my new seat is an all aluminum one...
