i might want to sell my current car next winter and start on a major project involving a pretty substantial amount of work (inter-manufacturer engine swap). I would do the swap over next summer. I have decent knowledge, good resources, and the money to do it (i think) but I will probably be doing an internship at the same time. The question I cannot answer is will it be possible to complete in 4 months? any opinions will be appreciated

Possible? Definitely. But you better be prepared to work on it for a good few hours every night, and almost all day on the weekends.
