I'll still be working in MD, but I'll be buying in WV most likely.

Nope. The hour commute would give me an awesome sized house with a 2 car garage in a quite neighborhood. Plus property tax is next to nothing in WV compared to MD.

Sure great for you, but what about your kids education? Admittedly I know next to nothing about each states school systems, but I can't imagine WV having a very good one.

Most of the schools have really good ratings, with the entire county's schools being avg to a 7 out of 10. Just using greatschools.com as a reference for now. I have coworkers that live there and could tell me more.

I'm also extremely biased, having gone to the second best public school system in CT which put us in the top 25 in the nation. (Not sure where it is now however, if you talked to the kids that are in it now, you'd swear that the school system sucks huge dick now).

Just to kind of confirm that this site is legit, I went to my old school in FL that had a ton of problems and was rated way higher than it should have been (the middle school was connected so when testing results came out it would avg the middle and high school rather than giving individual results) and the site shows it sucked just as bad as it actually did.
