This is a problem I feel many people face. I use to like my best friend of about 6 years or so now, but it just didn't work out. I told her how I felt and she just said that she didn't wanna risk the friendship and I was cool with that. I'd rather have her anytime I needed her than risk the chance of losing her.

It weirds me out when my friends try and get me to hook them up with her, I tell them to forget it.

well heres my story... i met my current gf a few yrs ago at a car gtg. we started out as friends and got to know each other. it progressed into the situation you are currently in. we became great friends. hung out all the time and had a blast. we both started getting deeper feelings and talked about it. she said "well i love you as a friend and value what we have and if we broke up i'd **** to lose you as a friend" i kinda agreed and we went on. well at one point i said fuck it and told her that i dont want to live the rest of my life saying "what if this was the girl?" and we decided we'd try it out. well 2 years later things couldnt be better. im in love with my best friend and would do it all over again regardless of the outcome. plus shes sexy as hell

from what I can tell she just doesn't want to fuck up what she has. she has a good boyfriend, and me as a great bestfriend. why ruin it right?

I can see her point of view and appreciate it. so its off my chest, and hopefully things will slowly work back to normal.
