Diamond Racings and mangled fenders are the new unpainted Extreme Dimensions bodykit.Originally posted by JC.'Stance' doesn't have to be scraping your car along the floor, that is simply the scene that has caught on. As long as your car looks amazing (in your eyes) while your rolling down the street, that is your own personal perfect stance.

fuck it, do w/e you want to your car. if it so happens to be slammed and your wheels aggressive then its stanced. i appreciate a clean flushed car, and i can appreciate (to an extent) a car thats a little more random and ostentatious. at no time will everyone aggree on what does and doesnt look good, so there will always be rice.Originally posted by M.BurroughsI'd have to say this site was founded on building the cars we wanted to build, despite if the rest of the car community liked it or not. This site was founded on freedom of automotive self expression and the passion that goes in to each and every build... This site is about doing what you like, whatever makes you happy, and not caring about what other people think...

i believe stance is the new rice and that rolled fenders are the new unpainted buttykits, that low is the new over sized wing and that flashy color has been replaced by rust. the scene is getting ridiculous sometimes, i like stanced cars, some of them are badass but sometimes the shit hits the fan when you see a piece of crap with 10 different colors on it going so low that a piece of paper would get stuck underneath it. oh yeah, and then there are the stickers, god damn people too many is an understatement

Imo the stance scene is more like the rat rod scene, we get cars, we want them low, we do ridiculous things to achieve that. Parts arent available so we fabricate them. i personally dig the rusted parts on some of the cars and the stickerbombed parts as well they all look better than rice..ricers buy shit from autozone, gawdy body kits, "euro" tail lights, and call it a day.

LOL, I love your style no homo.
On the subject of the matter, its all how you do it. A civic with a cheap carbon hood is rice but a M3 with a CSL carbon trunk isnt. Its all in context and how it looks. We make our cars fit our wheels.

And what does it mean to have a stretched tire jump the wheel at 60mph? I've had two blowouts in my life. One was a 225/40 on an 8.5j and one was a 225/40 on a 10j. Guess which tire stayed on the wheel?
I'd agree that rice in the stance scene are cars sitting on racelands or super stiff springs with stock struts bouncing all over and tearing away at the tires on their xxrs, homie.
