My check engine light came on, got scanned. The code was "Lower Limit Exceeded" (ie: my DV had failed)

A girl I told this to asked me "is it because you're car is too low?"

    Eat dessert first.

My pops is always making fun of my car, even called a radio talk show talking about how I have a BMW with the wheels sticking out and that one of my friends has staggered e46 M3 wheels in his MK4 Jetta, also that it doesnt make sense to have staggered wheels on a FWD car

      AmberLamps..... Get rid of them!

Woman on the street corner shouted to me, "THAT IS SO NOT SAFE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
A car at a stop light commented, "Dude, think your axle's busted cuz your wheels are leanin'."

Oh yeah, I need to get a picture of my tire receipt. Asked them to do an alignment and the receipt said "unable to do alignment, parts needed: Control arms, New springs"

Trying to explain to a friend and 2 gals we just met that every body needs to get out of the car in the pissing-down rain, so I can clear the rollover curb and get the car in the parking garage.

It was a tough sale and no-body wanted to get out.

Easy to say the rest of the night was a bust.

^ I can't go anywhere with more than 2 people in my car anyway...

In person, most people, even red necks in lifted trucks, say my car 'looks really badass, but how do you get over speedbumps?' Then I tell them that I just don't go to those places.

Never got it before, except from a friend... who lets me use his garage to work on my car.

"Yeah, change those control arms... actually, buy a pallet of them and everything else with bushings because you're going to need them driving a car that low around here. Car is just too low, man, I'm tellin' you. Once a week you'll be back here changing some sort of suspension component."

My car isn't low. He has no idea about this site, or the "stance" style.

I once parked my MINI with the hood under the rear half of the bed of a heinously lifted Ford F250. I went to get lunch across the street at an outdoor cafe, watched the truck's owner come out to his... thing, and when he saw the MINI wedged in between some sedan behind me and under his pickup, he just stood there scratching his head for a minute before looking around to see if anyone else saw this. Fortunately, he could pull out of the parking spot straight forward, but I heard some guy at the table across from me point at the MINI and say, "that's it honey. We're doing that to our car too. It can park anywhere!" I couldn't help but laugh...
