My opinion is simply that I have no intention of purchasing wheels or supporting that company in any way, shape or form. I can discuss further on a personal basis, but that's all I will say publicly.

I'm talking about Kranson Forged, the owner's name was Carlos (forgot his last name) but he worked a lot with 360 forged and Wheels Boutique and ADV-1 when they started. Those guys would all come by the shop and talk. Carlos would refinish a lot of the wheels they had. They all do the same shit, its like they're following the same shitty business model.

^TBH, when I heard you were getting wheels from them, I literally said, "Why the fuck would anyone still be doing business with those guys? Has he not heard all the bullshit Shane went through?"

Sorry you had to learn about them first-hand. Though I posted the ADV:1 10-Deep concave as an example of a sick ass wheel that they make, and I really like the design of Kranson Klassics, I would never order from either of those guys, EVER. People who can't put their shit in order enough to have a smooth buyer/seller interaction, especially when dealing with thousands of dollars, shouldn't be in business, nor should anyone support them.

Here's what i've learnt from this thread. Do not buy wheels from Florida. Period.

CCW is in Florida and is one of the most reputable companies to deal with while having incredible customer service and very short build times. I had my wheels in my possession 3 weeks after I ordered them.

On the topic of delays and such, my friend ordered 2 18x10 5x114.3 BBS RGRs for his Jetta a couple of years ago to have the only staggered set on a MK4 and it took over a year to get them

i knew it was only a matter of time before i heard this name again. i put this dude on blast a couple years ago (before stanceworks was around) for selling me some "new" brabus 2s. s**t was cracked, bent, and rechromed. took me like 6 months to get my money back and it still came up a little short iirc.

The shit is I did know it was like that, but I had never personally dealt with him, so I had no idea how bad it really was, I thought people were exaggerating. Paying $3000+ and not knowing what the fuck is going on, while he is blatantly lying to your face, and while you stress the deadline is a shitty feeling. I would rather have bought CCW's. I was between Kranson, CCW, and Image. I heard similar shit about Image, and they're across the fucking Atlantic Ocean, so I'm screwed if they mess up the order. Carlos was literally down the street from my house, so I could pop by the shop whenever to check progress.
