Yeah I know that these complaints are legit, I've been looking into this like all day (hooray boredom), I'm just playing devils advocate really. In reality this dude is complete dick bag, and I would never buy from him, but stuff like this isn't uncommon especially in the automotive world, with both companies and private sellers. This for whatever reason has just become a big deal. There should just be a list of companies no one should buy from because of shit business, (not because of replicas or whatever), but because they are shitty businesses.

If I had the money, I would be trying to buy wheels from Jordan. Read the website, looked past it in about 5 seconds when I saw all the wheels. Best concave wheel on the market. iForged has a similar reputation but has continued to do business because they're 'trying'. ADV has come through for people in the same way they screwed some over, I'm sure.

Unfortunately so many of the ADV pictures are doctored that it kinda belittles the splendor of the wheels. Still want them.

I give a shit. When i ordered my wheels, the owner of the company runs in the same circle, I was told 3 weeks. I knew better, but I gave him a deadline 6 months in advance. This was Southern Worthorsee 2010. Booked a hotel thinking no fucking way they're going to take 6 months. Sure as shit 2 weeks before the show the only thing I had was a set of unpainted centers, no barrels. I see this so he tells me he next day air'ed the barrels. Two days later no barrels, then he feeds me some bullshit saying that when he filled out the shipment for barrels he checked the wrong box and that they were shipped regular ground, 5 days later they're still not there (I'm fucking looking at him this whole time like how fucking stupid do you think I am). So we are now 5 days away from me leaving, says they're going to show up any day. The day I had to leave for SoWo, at 5 in the afternoon he starts taking apart other customers wheels to build me a set, so I don't even have what i ordered, but I'm desperate to get out of there because I had a reservation that cost me 250 bucks. Wheels assembled, drive out at 9pm! and i make it to Orlando before my right front mysteriously deflates, at which point I gave up and ate the $250 and the set of tires I had to buy because the wheels weren't the size I wanted. After I get back I drop the wheels off and tell him I want them done to my specs. I dont even remember how long it took them to get the correct barrels, but he fucked up the order (of course) and instead of having a 9.5 front i ended up with a 10in front. Assembled the wheels incorrectly because he put some of the hidden valve stems behind spokes, making them nearly impossible to fill with the wheel on.

The bullshit they put you through completely sours the experience. I wasn't even excited about my wheels anymore when I finally got them. I could write a book on the ways they promise you lies they never come through with, then get upset when YOU get upset that they lied or made empty promises. They talk shit about other costumers to you so that you feel less tempted to speak up about your own situation. Its completely fucked, the world would not suffer without them. The newest one is that the dude from Kranson split town with peoples money. The worst part is that they're not even intelligent, but they think (straight from the horses mouth) that they're getting away with murder and you're too fucking dump to pick up on it. I've met these guys, I've heard them talk. Buying wheels from them is a nightmare.

Another thing about delays is that when some one gives you a time frame, you expect it to get done in that time frame. Because you are paying them to get their shit done in that time frame. Companies should give an actual time frame rather than BS that just pisses people off. Unfortunately this is an all too common problem and after a while it begins to look like you are being scammed. Just how it is.

Absolutely. I just ment who gives a shit about delays when half the people aren't recieving wheels whatsoever and can't do shit. I was just saying that delays are half of the issue when people are getting screwed much worse.

I'm talking about Kranson Forged, the owner's name was Carlos (forgot his last name) but he worked a lot with 360 forged and Wheels Boutique and ADV-1 when they started. Those guys would all come by the shop and talk. Carlos would refinish a lot of the wheels they had. They all do the same shit, its like they're following the same shitty business model.

Seriously though, what that blog has established is that chances are you aren't getting your wheels if you buy from them, and he will just keep feeding you BS... Ok, so that said and all the discussion that has gone on so far, all its saying is don't buy their wheels, you will get ripped off, and you won't get your wheels even after being put through hell trying to figure out what is going on, before you get your money back/file a claim...
