I like the idea of skillet chicken. One of these days I want to do a pork fillet fulled with pesto with a cashew crust.

Even in Culinary school, my instructors insisted that we eat out and not cook at home. Their reasoning was, to cook for one or two costs more than going out, and if you go out to eat, you try more things and diversify your palate moreso than if you ate at home all the time.

Yes and no since it depends what you're getting and where.
On the other hand you can make food at home that will last for a couple days even though personally I can't stand food that's been sitting around in the fridge or freezer at that.
