i never understood people that lie or make up shit on the internet (forums or fb) to seem cool or whatever. in the end, you'll always get found out and look like a douche. we had one guy on a forum i ran that posted up all kinds of great tech info. then we got a pm informing us it was all stolen info that he was passing off as his own, and he didnt even own any of the cars he said he did.

Also, for me, Facebook and (in my exaple) car forums are much alike. In both one can pretend to be someone he/she is not in real life, and try to be all cool and 'ballin'. Countless times I meet with people on different meets who have the 'OG' or 'Baller' status on the forums, but in real life can't strike (or hold) a normal conversation. Sure they have a cool car and all, but in short they can be a really difficult to reach out to.I totally get what you are saying, I really only talk to a few people on here, and for the most part only post in RT which is a thread where I have met most of the people in there, or at least held a conversation with for a while.Originally posted by maciek View PostI was just sayin, lol

Haha I deleted my account a week ago and I've been fine since then. It's just a website after all. Mind you I don't have any friends, so no one has really noticed that I left ...

Facebook portrays what you want it to, you have total control over it, so you can make yourself look a million times better on there, I anyone can be a social butterfly on the internet, takes actual skills to be one in real life.Originally posted by Zic View Postsorry to sound like a dick, but what are you trying to live up to?
And I don't think you were being a dick at all. Good question.

I'd rather be on the side of the robots when they eventually try to enslave man. That way maybe I'll just have to be their bartender or something.
