        I tried the cottege cheese thing and wasn't a fan. Casein works pretty good for me.

        So it's barely been 2 weeks and I'm down about 4 lbs. I was about 196-197 and now I'm down to just over 192. Not bad. I know some is water weight but I can already see small changes in the mirror.

        Gotta love when you can see progress.

          • Here's where I'm at with lifts. I never really try and max out.

            Never been good at bench but I can get 205 for 4 reps. Can also get 185 for 10

            Squat is upto 245 for 4. Ass to grass

            As for deads, I've been hitting higher reps but I did manage 265 for 8 the other day.

            I also love front squats. Can get 6 of those at 145. I do those after regular squats.

            Nothing too impressive row wise. My back is getting wider but my poundages really aren't that high. I'm more concerned with form and contracting the muscle. The weight will come with time.

            Been incorporating lots of stripping sets too with shoulders. So say I do 8 reps side laterals with 20 lb db's, as soon as those are done I'll grab the 15's and do as many as I can, then the 12.5's, then the 10's. Works really well for my shoulders. Starting to fill out better.

            Slowly getting there. Real excited to see where I'm at by the end of the year.

              • Chest day today, Did Legs yesterday and Managed to not bail doing squats this time lol

                Also my old Gym Snap Fitness fucked me over and charged me for March, Even though I gave them the month notice that they asked for. My Credit Card company won't do shit either. I advise everyone to stay away from those crooks.

                • Testing all my one rep maxes this week. Starting The Cube Method on next Tues. Its a program designed by one of the lifters I follow. 4 days a week which is exactly what Im looking for to fill me schedule.

                      Also Yesterday was the first day back after a week off due to a horrible chest/head cold. Testing my Max's this week also

                        • I just finished the isatori "hyper growth plan" and I enjoyed it. The whole program is geared toward raising your bench 20 lbs and squat max 40 lbs. it's a 28 day program so those are good gains for such a short program. My initial squat max was 375 and when I finished it was 415 so it worked. But my bench max only went up 10 lbs. but I was supposed to max on Monday and I didn't end up maxing until Saturday so it had been almost 2 weeks since I had done barbell bench at all. So I figure it's my fault. But bulking season is over and it's time to lean down. Hit a max weight of 190. Currently around 186. I'm debating doing a physique show this summer but I haven't decided. Here's a picture of me from today. Typical mirror underwear selfie.

                          • I squat twice A week, Im increasing pretty good right now at 20lbs a week. Currently at 255 up from 200 at the begging of Feb.

                              I'm doing a hard ass diet right now. Cutting back to about 2000-2500 calories per day and carb cycling. Sundays I have about 300g's carbs to load up. Then Monday I have about 175 grams, and Tuesday about 110 grams. Then back to 175 and so on. It's working really well. I'll have to grab a pic.

                              Also, you guys are some fucking beasts with squats. I can hit 225 for 6 but I like doing volume for legs. My typical sets for squat go: 3 warm up sets, then my working sets of 15,12,10,8,8,6 and a drop set. Then into 6 sets of front squat, dead lifts, Romanian dead lifts super setting with lying leg curls. Then I superset leg extensions with leg curls.

                              My legs no longer fit in 2 pairs of jeans.

                              • Welp time to get serious again.
                                I'm swearing off booze for 45 days, sticking to a strict regimen for eating, amping up my running, and doing a full body routine for that whole 45 days.

                                Goals are to drop 10lbs, run a 7 min mile, bench 230lbs, squat 250lbs, and dead lift 250lbs.
                                Dude... My nissan has like a v8, man.
