I removed the helper spring from my coilovers today and am able to go really low. Now, how do you guys that ride slammed deal with rubbing issues? I rub on the front inner top wheel well when I go straight in and out of my driveway. I also rub front fenders big time when going up inclines and having the steering wheel turned. I am on stock 17s.

plenty of ways, stretch tires, negative camber, roll fenders, remove fender liners, raise so you dont rub ( dont recommend) or all of the above for a very nice setup

How does stretching tires help clearance? Makes the tire slightly lower profile?

Well yea , a lower pro is always better in my opinion , plus if you a tire directly under the fender it'll rub , buy if it's stretched than it will most likely be tucked or a free mm in the wheel well . Giving you more clearance and maybe a few more mm of available low

But even with tucking tires, turning towards either extreme will cause rubbing with the fender? I just can't picture how some of the guys with super tucked front tires can turn left or right without rubbing.

not really when i turned one way the car would actually somewhat raise itself just enought to clear, or i rubbed..the rubbing was not an issue as it wasnt severe to the point of damaging my fender

I think all bmws raise them itselves when turning.. But where can i buy springs for coilovers online?
