I'm thinking I will just grind/cut the rear fenders for starters, then pull the fenders from there if I need to.

It's going to have to be an awesome roll. I had 225/40s with a roll (albeit not the best) and I rubbed like a motherfucker.

with a proper roll he should be good unless e46's run narrower wheels than e36 but i was under the impression it was the opposite.

thats a 17x9 et6 w/ a 10mm spacer making it et-4 with a 205/40 and its well within the wheel well. and 9.5 et13 is 11mm more in the fender.

just get a good roll and do it up.

He's going to need the stretch.

    My car was 18x8 et13, 18x9.5 et25 no spacers.

You will NEED to do fender work.

they will fit nicely but i need to run a 10mm spacer on 8.5 et13's to be flush on my e36 in front. you could run a 215/40 on the front and a 235/40 on the rear with those offsets without a problem.

Does anybody have pics of a 17x9.5 et 13-ish set up on an e36/e46?

    215/40 and you'll be perfect.

    205/40 for the fronts.

Those offsets are going to be perfect btw.

E46 sedan fitment advice, 17x9.5 et 13 rears

So I have this e46 (dd), and I have these 17x8.5/9.5 et 13 ACS type I's, and I now have the money for tires. I need a bit of advice as to what tire size I need to make these fit well. The car is on Tein SS coil overs all the way down.

What size tires should be mounted for a good fitment? Will a 215/45/17 do the job? Would a little less stretch work?
Working...
