My car is more or less a budget build, the more I get it towards what I want, the less budget it seems

How many coils did you cut front and back. You are at the ride height i want to be at.

Cut a half coil at a time, stop when you reach the height you desire.

3rd week with it and I lowered her- Giac Tune, UUC Exhaust, some random intake- Variant 1's with 5 threads and helpers left - all for 6k

1977 vw rabbit, was $400, purchased from the original owner.
rims were 80's Compomotive CX 3-piece 15x7.5 et 12 got it off ebay for $120 but Fedex lost the 4th wheel so I never got proper tires for them.
it was lowered on $1200 dollar H&R coilovers, hahaha

They're widened 850 steelies. 10" in the rear and 8.5" in the front.

have about 1700 into everything maybe? Car was 500, wheels were 500, making them fit and tires was about 500, other misc. stuff. I'm 18, what do you want haha

I think this car really pulls of the meaty tires. Only edit I would suggest is to pull the upper yellow fogs and replace the two lower ones with the yellow ones. That'll calm the front down a tad.

Car as it sits in these pics is right around 2000 dollars including the car, coils, wheels, bumper, etc.

Unfortunately it's no longer stanced at the moment because the Borbets sold, but once something else that's a deal pops up, it'll get lookin sexy again.

Were those Borbets polished or chromed? And what was the specs on them?

Low on money so I went the budget route... racelands and painted stock wheels. front lip has been painted flat black since this picture.
