im kinda confused with the posts of expensive cars with expensive wheels, and no explanation??!? lol
this is definitly my kinda thread! i cant wait to get my next shit car to hook up on a budget, cause it didnt work out with my daily car, hence its back to factory. but ill still contribute a lil bit...
20x8.5 et35 mint R-1 wheels with Nexen 225/35/20 tires, $500 picked up. Tein coilovers with maybe 10k on them $600 picked up. put in shorter front springs, was tucking tire and was gonna roll rear fenders to drop rears more, but sold everything and now ridin OEM
and i cant find any pics of the 18s i had, they were 18x8.5 et25 and 18x9.5 et35. they were Rays TE37 reps, but gold with polished lip. mint condition for $400. never got around to stretching tires on the rear and getting suspension dialed in they went to a lexus coupe
out of all my cars ive never payed more than $600 for rims/tires, all from craigslist or forums! but i cant afford to ball out my daily, since its a financed car with payments but even if i had the extra cash, i prefer the dirty look of the budget ride, with its personality and "eww" factor to the general zombie public!
and where do you guys get all these awesome wheels for so (relatively) cheap? (not the steel wheels, i know where to get those) im talking about the cars with bbs' and borbet's for less than $2k including the car
Yeah it needs some stance....Im working on that while I drop in my new motor.
In these pics though before I started on building a motor, Id say I have about $800 in the car. Has 442k miles and still runs and drives fine...just time for a change.
Now its just sitting under the carport waiting for my lazy ass to finish the motor and drop it it.
