I'm the same way as you. I've done both. My MK4 GLI was poking and it's a great look on VW's. But with my TT, I've decided to go with a tuck. I think as long as it's done right, they both look fuckin amazing. Like you said, certain car would look RETARDED with poke, others look retarded with tuck. But if you can do it right, it will always look good, tucking or poking.

The car HAS TO LOOK stylish and beautiful. No matter if its' wheels tuck or poke. Ideal stance depends on the type of flares and features of body styling. So, I have no answer.

Tuck tire, Poke rim.... Wheres Tuck&Poke?

Depends on the car.. I cant vote for both, so Im not going to vote. Stance doesnt come down to these two options

I agree, flushness FTW. Tuck that tire and poke that lip.

              herro!

fuck yea tuck tire poke rim. 9 times out of 10 i like poke. it kind of depends on the car and your whole setup really, ride height, body modifications etc.

Again, it all depends on the car, the wheels, the style. I've probably broken and destroyed more of the underside of my car than anyone else on this forum, and I roll tucked day-in and day-out.
yea it def does depend on the car.ideally i would be on bags and just flush enough to set the car down right on the rim.

you def have more balls for driving as low as you were. especially across the country. haha

It really does depend on the car. For example, most everyone does tuck on MK5s and it's the "style" for them, but poke can be pulled off very well too, as can be seen with Tek's MK5. I also happen to really like forward rake so the look appeals to me to poke the rear a bit (that's what she said )

                  Typical MK5 tuck

Really depends on the car and the size of the wheels. Some cars need tuck as they would look skyjacked otherwise, others need poke because they would look like the titanic otherwise.

My usual formula is as low as the car can go with the correctly proportioned wheel. Whether that requires tuck or poke to work is the deciding factor.
