Poll: Tuck or Poke?

Even though my last setup was more of a tuck, I say poke.

TUCK all the way. For me, tucking a very aggressive wheel, that most would poke, is doing fitment twice as good. plus, with tuck, you can slam more.

It flusters me when people say "poke is always better" because its not.




If my rear poked, my ass end would be sky high and my car would look stupid. The rear fenders are cut lower on older BMWs and its just part of the body line.

Same with Mike's Audi


That shit would look stupid as hell with poked wheels.

I will say that on most cars, yes, poked is more appealing. its hard to pull off a nice tuck... but "always" is a bit absurd.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say I'm doing it perfectly by any means. I'm just saying I think there are proper cases for poke (most cases) and I think there are proper cases for tuck (see e28).

This. My favorite example of tuck on any car is on Rusty, but in general, in my opinion, poke looks better than tuck. Thats all
