It's pretty much damn impossible to do what you guys do with the 350z. Maybe one day they will bring the IRS back, until then there's no way to tuck huge wheels that have super low offsets with no camber.
So the problem with going low on the S197s are basically issues with the lack of an independent rear suspension?

You say its difficult to do it with no camber.. but waht if you dont mind a few degrees of negative camber?

What forum are you on for mustangs? I'd love to read/see more about that mustang up there and see what it takes to get one of these on the ground... (albeit almost impossible)

if you are familiar with ae86s at all then that is what a mustang rear suspension is like.

there is no rear camber adjustment whatsoever, so rear camber is not an option.

i dont think you can shimm the mustang axles. even if you did, the camber would be less functional than for an IRS car, even if you did have camber the wheel would still hit the fender because it moves up and down with no camber gain to give more clearance as the wheel moves through its arc.

I'm a fan. I got a pick of Mustang vert slammed on my phone. We were racing on 90 on my way to Buff the other day. I'll review and see if it's post worthy. Either way, looks like stance is crossing over

Yeah I'm sure I'll be going with coil-overs. None of this going through multiple spring sets bs, It'll probably save me money in the long run.

Any more info on this mustang? A build thread or something?

Just ordered some GC coil overs, hope to have them mounted soon. Might have to go with a small spacer in the front to keep it flush due to the camber.
