  • New here, with a mustang

Some teasers. Keep in mind I didn't have the suspension fully compressed in these pictures. Have to wait and see how the final product looks, but I'm thinking I might want to go a little bit lower. I have an appointment to have the tires mounted tomorrow. I should be able to snap some pics of the fronts mounted before the sun goes down.

Providing the fronts fit fine, I'll probably be purchasing 285/40's for the rear.

Wheels are 18x10 +40 all around

I want to paint the lip black as well, but I couldnt bring myself to painting a brand new set of wheels. So I'll wait until they get a few blemishes. Here is the car as it sits now.

Awesome. I love FR500's. I wish they were silver/machined rather than black centers though... The black with work with the Grabber Orange, however.

ive found if you want low on a pony you need coilovers. springs just wont cut it. (no pun intended)

Well I got the tires on and the wheels mounted. They clear, no spacer needed. Now I just need to get rid of that wheel gap. I'll probably be doing 285/40 in the rear, I want a little taller tire so that I don't have to drop the rear as much.

Notice the weak size/offset of the stock wheels on the rear of the car.
