what do you plan on lowering it on? coilovers? sleeves?
Full coilovers. I already have half a set of upper/ lower strut braces, Energy links, and upgraded brakes on the car. I just need the lowers, then I'll do the coilovers, and adjustable alignment kit; and the chassis should be done.
im sorry but in the one post, you said that you prefer performance over looks. this might be the wrong site for you lol. most of these guys (including me very soon) are slammed on wide wheels and tiny tires, which arent good for lots of things but we prefer form over function. most of us, not all though
Hahahaha, true. I LOVE stance, so I love SW (and MOST of the guys on here a very cool. Some of them have kinda disappointed me, especially since I have been 100% nice and supportive to each and every one. That guy with the nice 5-series comes specifically to mind....)
Here are the specs:
-Elbrus 105
-17x7.5, et42
-5mm spacers out back
-Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
-215/45/17
The car is planned to be an Rally, rock climing whore, so no stretch, here. Car will be stammed as soon as I have the money. But, considering I just spent over $1500 on the wheels/ tires, that may not be for a while.
I'm not sure how you haven't seen me post. I've been a member (an active one, at that) since January.
K, but serious thought, if you want to autox it, why the skinny tires, 7.5 can handle 245 35s nicely while making your skinny wheels look like they have a purpose

Hahahahahahha, well, anything over a 215 would rub without poke. Focus wheel wells are quite restrictive. Plus, I don't feel a <2500lb car needs anything more than a 215 with such serious tires.
wow, im a noob here and even i was dissapointed.....
the title is very misleading, otherwise a simple and clean focus, much better then the riced out crap i see around here everyday, lol
this was like your girl calling you on the phone to tell you she got breast surgery, you get super excited, only to find out she had breast reduction, lol
if you were really serious about auto-x, wouldnt you be rolling on some lightweight 15"s? 16"s at the biggest? those things have to weigh a ton. you might post quicker times with the stock wheels. seriously, but with something a bit more aggressive than the OEM all seasons.
