u got owned on tire prices sir...

I got them for 10 bucks cheaper apiece than what TireRack lists.....And 35 cheaper than normal price at Firestone..... 170 a tire adds up. Add 6% sales tax, and a couple other minor fees, and viola! I was not charged for mounting, balancing, OR road hazard ( normally $26 a tire). I got a screaming deal on these tires.

Thanks, man. I try not to take it too seriously. If someone truly hates it, that doesn't really matter to me. Chances are, I'll never meet them anyway. I love getting opinions on my car, and I'll never pretend i don't care; after all, I DID post it.. However, I know how to take criticism, and I try not to get all butt hurt about it.

It may not see the ground, but the car will be significantly lowered once I have the money.

Thanks a lot, man. What I noticed last night is that Style 5s are only a half inch wider than these wheels. The width is fine by me. The ride height desperately needs fixing, but the width is just fine for such a light car.

Well apart from one or two your thread has had the most posts in here ignoring what is said in them thats a win!!

just fyi, my summer wheels when i first bought them were et19 at 7" wide. they would've worked fine had i been happy with that narrow of a wheel. Its not that it takes high offset, its everyone is scared to push the boundry

Remember, though... Offset is relative to width. I'm sure they were still lower than these by a fair bit, i just don't want more poke than what I have. You make a very good point, though.

I may. The Focus takes very high offset wheels, though. You don't normally see anything less than et35 on a Focus, so these are pretty out there for a "stocker"


BTW, it's nice to see the general attitude/ direction of this thread change. This is the StanceWorks I love!
