as a whole, US is killing it i reckon, vw, vip, usdm... anything coming outta the states just has so much style, fitment and stance is constantly being pushed further and further, wheel coulours, paint schemes, engine bay shaving and wire tucks, i know these are staples of the euro and vw tuning scene and have been around for years, but the US guys taking it and using it on the different platforms etc is just so fresh, lovin all of it...

i think its impossible to say where this shit started, none of us have a fucking clue, its all speculation or shit you heard from someone or read on the internet, so i think we can throw those discussions out the window

BUT, the reason i voted VW is because the majority of owners who modify them know and play with offsets and shit and try to get a good stance from the car, more so than any other vehicle brand I know. Then again, all i have to go by is what i see here, in the US, it could be different in other countries. But in the fuckin U S of A, VW is holding it down.

I joined the vortex when i was 14 and started checking out cars and shit, there were some cars i happened to like better, but i had no idea why, and then i started to learn about fitment and tire stretch and offsets and i just got it, and now i cant own a car without obsessing over tire size and offset.

This should be a regional poll, not a brand one IMO.

I see so many sick ass stanced cars here in socal, I'm definitely spoiled. Whenever I go other places it seems like there just isn't as much of a stance scene and people don't appreciate rolling low and hard like a lot of the guys here do.

I get people in ALL kinds of cars commenting on my car at stoplights and such. I've driven it up to norcal once or twice and all I seemed to get was Honda ricers trying to race me and people looking at me like I'm Paul Walker about to tear the shit out of their streets

The whole Euro scene. But I voted VW because, they were/are the most predominant.

In my books i think VW have had the biggest inspiration for many stanced rides of today,as the VW boys say If ain't rubbing or scrubbing you ain't dubbing it right!

I said VW although there are a shit ton of well fitted JDM and VIP cars running around and have been for years.

VW/Audi mainly because pound for pound there are more of them stanced in the world then any other marque, they started the whole fitment craze, and they're probably going to finish it.

I have to give it to the Dubbers as well. It just seems like I always saw VDubs slamming it up before I saw Bimmers. My heart still lies with the Blue and White, but I still love me some proper stance sporting VW's.

Although I have to admit, I've only recently payed attention to the Japanese crowd, so hell, they could have been doing it first indeed.

I gotta say Euros in general.

The euro and japanese have been stancing to some degree for decades, but the euros were always more internationally present. The japanese scene's only really started to swap over internationally in the late 90ies, early 2000s. Back then it was also mostly VIP in terms of stanced cars that could be seen internationally, the other japanese styles have only slowly evolved in the past years, or at least gotten more present.

Euros, especially in Europe, have been doing it since I could think. I have been reading car magazines for as long as I could read, before then I even looked at them for just the pictures. For most of the past 20 years, europe has been stancing, except for the early 2000s, that's when most of europe started to follow the Fast and Furious trends with big ass spoilers and sunk in wheels, it's been getting less and less in the last 5 years though, and I'm glad for that.

In Germany the most obvious and visible scene has always been the Volkswagens, followed by Opel, BMW and lastly Ford.
