I guess this poll depends on which forums you visited the most...

    Some examples...
    Bosozoku
    Sexy Knights
    Mitsuru Haraguchi (326 Power)
    Yoshinori Koguchi
    Fumiaki Komatsu (Drifter X)
    BN Sports (Blister)
    A Bo Moon
    Team Magician
    Team Burst
    Pink Godzira
    Anything VIP

These individuals/crews/companies/cars sparked the stance scene for me.

to me its any euros in general.
mainly because most euros have flared fender arches.
    which mean sick stances.
idk if this makes sense. sorry im tipsylol

Yes, laws came out in Europe to where tires weren't allowed to be outside of the fender. The european crowd wanted to keep their wheel width and still be able to go low and keep stance so what they did was buy smaller tires and "stretch" them to achieve this. I'm not saying that the Euro scene was the first to have stance but they were the first to stretch their tires due to laws.

My vote is definitely for VW.

VW paved the way and started the whole movement, so kudos to you guys. With that being said the JDM or Import scene is killing it right now, hands down..

Drift cars. VW's were doing it and a lot of people were doing it before them, but no one cared until the drift bandwagon started and everyone saw the JDM drift cars with stretched tires and blah blah.

I didn't see an option for iScrape, so I didn't vote. They and they alone are the true revolutionaries for bring Stance to the mainstream.

Being heavy into the VW crowd, I personally have taken a lot of inspiration from the JDM scene, no doubt the VW guys and the JDM guys will always have it on lock. But i think the VW community as a whole is starting to get the hang of this stance movement. Its not just a bunch of 18x8.5 +45 with a 235/40s anymore. My vote to VW for "doing it right..now"

you cant label or pin point it to a brand. every forum has had slammed cars and done their thing respectively. this "stance revolution" is simply a new label for it. the brand of car has absolutely nothing to do with it. its the people who drive the cars and conform them to this "stance revolution" style.

My vote is JDM. Whether it's a drift car or a VIP car, it's done right. I just love seeing a car with crazy stance getting ripped sideways at 100mph dragging sideskirts.

Edit: Anyone can stance a car but having crazy aggressive fitment while still being able to rip on the car is just plain awesome. My props go to the japanese. But if were just talking here in the states, I feel like everyone is getting their stance on..
