Kevin, it's hard to explain to an outsider. quickest answer is: this forum is all about 'low as a lifestyle'.

I've become aggervated over the years of hearing people complain they can't go lower for one reason or another; all wanna-be's in my opinion to act like you wish to roll hard, but convince yourself it can not be done. the worst is when I see bagged cars that still don't fully lay frame. so I became motivated to redefine the standard of what is truly considered 'slammed' & I will continue to push limits for as long as I pilot this frame scrapin' pebble pusher.

I am trying to look through all the photos I have of my car to continually upload exactly how this car really is function > form, just in a newly pioneered world where frame clearance becomes completely unnecessary for daily duties.

I think a car is nice if it's just that. Nice. It doesn't have to be slammed. It can just have simple clean lines and a few mods and be extremely well executed. so many want to focus on the quality of paint or the dented $40 fender instead of where I've put all of my efforts, which is tunnel vision towards laying static frame. I am still to see another car even come close, much less drive it year round or out of the country or through as many states as I have.

I don't know why but fable is one of the most misunderstood personalities on the forum.
I've know the guy for 10+ years now, for all the folks that think he's taking this serious, relax he's not! He's just enjoying and getting the most out of what the miata has become.

For folks that think that low is silly, well yes it is, but he gets enjoyment out of driving it daily, and that he does.Plenty of cruise nights around chitown we've had in the miata at its current ride height with no hood in rain!

For folks that think his car is useless and he ruined a perfectly good "track" vehicle, relax! He's an alignment+wheel/tire combo away from being on track. Currently he has no need to do that as he owns 2 e36's one which has been on track regularly.

Before fable got his miata, i'd like to think I inspired him into purchasing one. We regularly do HPDE events here. I used to own an NB (now sold ) and fable still owns the e36.
