come on man, I know you're playin' but some may think you're being serious. if you watch the video & pay close attention to where my rear tire sits, it's the same as all the photos below without even 1 person in it.
on the ground is exactly that, on the ground. if anything, notice how ride height was not altered with people in the car. further proof that even with 3-400lbs. difference, the car stills sits exactly the same.
& there were 3 people in the car total - don't even know who the guy was, but jumped in back & layed across the car. guess peeps just wanna be close to FABEL.

I've thought of running some ideas past you because of this, but in all honesty, I don't even control the directions my roadster takes me, the car does. if you have thoughts though, of course feel free to share.
never will you guys hear me say something can not go lower no matter who you are; that's living with limits & I don't have time for the weak or timid. this is what 'Rolling Hard' is all about, just like Spastic originally intended.
seeing pavement gap is just as awful as fender gap, which we all know KILLS. I prefer to respect the Lord & actually live. don't be average out there, don't 'try hard', & most of all never settle as aLaFleur has explained above.
I will continue to pilot this roadster for as long as I own the thang, or the frame falls apart & divorces me. "FABEL' changes everything about driving & any destination I make, I close the door full of pride & absolutely amazed that I've actually made the distance.
guess that's what you get when you put form above function & cruise these states as tuff as I am trying to make my roadster become.
Frame Bangin' FABEL.

Now there's an idea! Lets make it happen
And thanks for the good words man. I don't think of it much like that, but I do appreciate the recognition. It's good knowing you and I have the same mind set on building cars and really just enjoying what you have the way you want to have it. The only right way to build a car is to build it for yourself. I'd say you've more than accomplished that.Last edited by aLaFleur; 03-18-2013, 03:12 PM.

ex.2:
function > form has been the number one priority from the start as seen here with my Beatrush underpanel.
this design was copied from a Japanese rally team that wanted to direct more airflow directly to the radiator, guard against road debris - gravel - mud - dust - objects in the road, & prevent any engine damage. the belts are very close to the ground on my car & have always been worried something may get tangled up, so this piece from Japan was just the ticket.
the piece is huge; taller than my car, & can feel the extra downforce while driving even at highway speeds. it has ventilation ducts to disipate engine heat, protects the radiator, steering rack, pulleys, & front subframe with no downfalls, while still allowing oil changes without removal. definiately worth designing one for your own car where performance means everything, not just 'slam'.
I have since cut it into two pieces, allowing the further attachment to slide past the front when needing to access the front subframe areas while roadside, but have not reinstalled since completing. the difference being unmounted is even more drastic towards the characeteristics as described above than originally felt.
Frame Bangin' FABEL, where function determines everything.
