99 SVT Contour track slut by PRT Autosport.

Since the 3L install, I'm sitting at roughly 220WHP un-tuned. While that doesn't sound like much, the car's weight and gearing make it a beast on the track and a lot of fun on the street. Tuned I should net around 240. Again, not a ton of power, but all of it useable on the track.

Stories like yours are an inspiration, something to aspire towards, and proof that the long hours will eventually pay off. The car is torn down for revisions at the moment, but as soon as the snow melts it will be back on the road and I will arrange a time to come out!

The brakes are ridiculous to say the least. I almost deleted the ABS but was advised against it by a friend that runs a cup car and I'm glad I didn't. The car wants to lock up with hardly a touch of the pedal.

I lost my 2011 build thread thanks to a forum crash where I used to reside, given the positive response I'm getting here, maybe I'll throw up a new one here in builds. The car is under the knife for 2012 at the moment.
