FMICs for B5 S4s have two inlet's outlets because of they layout of the engine/turbos.

The intercooler is essentially two long intercoolers connected together at the middle. The bottom left pipe is the passenger side turbo inlet, and the bottom right pipe is the outlet. On the top half, the top left is the outlet because the drivers side turbo is feeding it from the top right inlet. It would be a lot of extra plumbing to make both turbos use the same side of the intercooler as an inlet.

Incorrect. Single body with dual inlets.

Any more updates on this C4S Capt'n?

Nothing special. Just cleaning it up and fixing a few small things.

The headlights were starting to do that yellowing/cloudy bullshit, so I took them off the car today and sanded them down and am working on polishing them back to clear now. I'm done with one and it's good as new.

Also gave it a mini weight reduction today by removing the CD changer and the useless rear seats, which shaved about 25 pounds off it.

I also ordered some GT3 muffler bypass pipes, which will allow me to remove the mufflers from the car, which weigh about 45 pounds.

This is what it will sound like:

I hear on the 996 forums that the bypass pipes are absurdly loud, so we'll see how long they last on the car. LOL

Oh yeah, I also ordered my new wheels from Rotiform yesterday.

Decided to go with TMBs, and they will be 19x9.5 front (with 235/35s) and 19x12 rear (with 295/30s). There's something strangely satisfying with having wheels so wide that you have stretch with 295s.

It should look something like this (this is a 997, but you get the idea):

There's a big cruise up here in March called the Port Townsend Cruise, and I'm hoping to have everything together on the car by then. It's usually when people "debut" what they've been working on all winter.
