I never really left, but I'm back again

Rather than make a new thread every time I feel like posting a pic or two, I guess I'll just add them to this thread.

I got bored the other day so I went for a drive. Ended up driving to the ski area about 45 minutes away.

Well, sometimes life takes funny turns.

I started thinking about how much work I needed to do to this car to get it to where I want it to be and got kinda bummed out. Between paint/body work, the engine build and redoing the interior on this thing I was never going to have the free time to get it done, and I was never going to be happy with it if I didn't do everything I had originally planned.

So, I partially parted the car out and then sold it. It sold in three days for my full asking price, so I guess someone out there really wanted it!

Here's how it looked before it went off to it's new owner:



I know, it's sad that I sold it. But a few days later I found this car and suddenly I don't miss the S4 anymore.







It's an '02 Carrera C4S and it is now my new favorite car I've ever owned! This thing is just amazing, everything about it. I'm in love.

It already has a set of JIC coilovers on it along with spherical end links on the front suspension and camber plates, so I'll be lowering it some more this coming weekend. It also has Fister exhaust and a B&M short shifter, so we're off to a great start. Also, I spoke with Brian at Rotiform today and we have a new set of forged wheels measuring 19x9.5 and 19x12 that will be on on their way to me soon.

Congrats on the promotion! I was damn close to buying a silver 911 myself when I bought the Jaguar, but it isn't as practical when the kids are in back and need to poop quickly.

o gawd. UPGRADE. haha, can you please describe more in depth everything you're in love with, why it's your favorite car you ever owned? I've been in a similar scenario this last year almost biting the bulleit (yes i know i mispelled it, i love bulleit and coming close to buying one - seen a few c2 around 5-60k miles for under 20k clean!

Honestly, just go take one for a test drive and it will be all the convincing you need. The interior fit and finish, the driving dynamics, the NOISES. It's just awesome.

Poop. Quick question: Why does the FMIC have twin outs? I can understand the two inputs but aren't they going to the same throttle body?
