great work sir very clean car! Any chance you could do me a HUGE favor and let me know some details about your clutch line/fittings you used. I believe the SR20 slave uses a m10 thread with a crush washer? Any idea what fitting is needed for the e30 master?

I would normally just pull both parts and head down to the hydraulic shop and get something made however things are not that simple in Thailand haha.

Any info would be great, need to get my car on the road!

sorry for the late response, I honestly don't know what the sizes are, my car is together and running so I'd rather not take it apart and bleed again etc. I have a new e30 oem clutch line hanging out so I can probably get you the size at the master, but your likely on your own for the slave, I just went to a parts store and tried fittings untill one fit, then just got a stainless flex line made up to go from the master to the slave over the trans.

Wiring isn't bad, count on spending 3k+ to get I running in the car half decent though, lots of little things add up.

Amazing. All the work is perfect. And I can't believe you got the glass sunroof, those are so rare.

So good man, your e30 is a definate blueprint on how to do this swap. I've just got my old m10 out and have my s14a sr20vet siting waiting for mounts. good to see you upgraded the brake master and didn't go the easy route of e21 booster, i'm thinking of using the s14 booster and master from the half cut because i thought if i've got to modify it it may as well be with what i've already bought? do you by chance have any wiring colour charts for dash gauges?

It's actually just a diamond shwarz sunroof I used to replace the rotten zinno one that came with the car.

Thanks man, the booster/master/steering linkage clearance problems suck, if I had to do it again I would have just made a custom exhaust manifold to eliminate all the issues and run stock booster/master.

Temp gauge you just grab signal from the sr temp sensor for the dash, and rpm is a little more tricky, speedo is off the diff and gas from the tank so no issues there, oil pressure light is just a matter of grabbing it off the sr oil pressure sensor also.

Here's the info I used to get the tach to work http://sre30.blogspot.com/

I suppose I should probably get off my ass and make a how-to sr swap, problem is i'm incredibly lazy and would rather work on the car :P

Some changes in the works currently, most recent being a short shifter and refitting the interior and changing out any flawed pieces of it.

Haha. Took me months to realize it was just black. Even from 5 feet away, it'll fool you.

                              .

Yeah, the other two are from the hamilton area.

Well, one may not be around anymore. It was built three years ago as a drift car by Union AutoClub and was sold, and I believe blown up, not sure if it was ever reconstructed.
