this car was beautiful at H20i. I was so glad to see you cruisin' the strip every so often; was amazed just the same regardless of how many times it passed.

the amount of work put into this thing seemed rather extreme, I just wish I could see some photos that represent how crisp this chassis is at every angle. certainly impressive. you deserve a lot of credit; glad to see the support here.

How's the ride with the IX shocks and how much did you cut from the struts ?

                          Very nice ride !

The ride is the best i've ever had on modified suspension. It's no caddy, but with 500 fr and 750 r spring rates you can't expect that either. I ran the same setup on "lowering shocks" etc before and it was garbage in comparison, when the shock is constantly bottoming out it simply will never ride well, stock length shocks are a waste of time, the strut bearing will sit on the housing and it still won't go as low as I am.

I sectioned the housing's 3.75" if I recall correctly, which is the full amount that the IX shock cartridge is shorter from stock. At the current height (pictured) the shock has the same amount of travel as stock. It would be impossible to bottom out as the car will hit subframe/steering rack before the suspension compresses more then an inch.
