  • Bagged e46 // CCW Classics

Original thread for my car here, although images might be broken
The general style discussion forum, as well as a place to post your car, or any car for that matter.

Finally got my CCW Classics mounted. Looking to redo the rears though because the Michelins don't stretch very well. They are too meaty for my taste. Also going to have to redo my front air setup so I can slam the car more. Pictures were taken real quick by a friend of mine. Hoping to get a legit shoot soon once I install my diffuser.

And yes, I know my car's dirty. (all stickers are coming off this week too)

edited disclaimer: i know the car isn't super low for it being bagged. i need to modify my front struts to slam it more. when setting up the e46 for air suspension, it gets pretty tricky. you're really limited in the front if you don't go with the premade $1500 struts that are out there. if you build it yourself with your own strut and bag combo, you need to modify the struts to get the clearance you need. i modified mine to fit my old 19" chs, which is why they aren't fully lowered at the moment. but now that i have a smaller diameter wheel, i can modify it to accommodate for the extra room i have.

AA stage 1, but added an intercooler of my own since the stage 1 didn't come with one at the time. I think AA offers the new stage 1 with a small FMIC, but I could be mistaken. I'm looking to do a swap in the near future. Was really thinking of a 2jz swap. Haven't gotten around to doing my research on it but I know it's been done on my chassis before already.

What are the wheel specs? I'll help you figure out proper tires sizes.
Front should be lower, especially since your bagged
            Looks good though
            I dislike Byron.

Awesome looking car, though I expected much lower of a bagged car.

the rears are 235/40/18 on a 10". i was looking for some 225/35s but couldn't find anything locally, hence the meaty tires. the fronts are 215/35/18 on 9".

and yeah i need to modify my front struts to slam it more. when setting up the e46 for air suspension, it gets pretty tricky. you're really limited in the front if you don't go with the premade $1500 struts that are out there. if you build it yourself with your own strut and bag combo, you need to modify the struts to get the clearance you need. i modified mine to fit my old 19" chs, which is why they aren't fully lowered at the moment. but now that i have a smaller diameter wheel, i can modify it to accommodate for the extra room i have.

OEM m3 front fenders are in the works. i have them sitting around in the garage. just going to section out the flare portion to widen up the front.
