and yeah i need to modify my front struts to slam it more. when setting up the e46 for air suspension, it gets pretty tricky. you're really limited in the front if you don't go with the premade $1500 struts that are out there. if you build it yourself with your own strut and bag combo, you need to modify the struts to get the clearance you need. i modified mine to fit my old 19" chs, which is why they aren't fully lowered at the moment. but now that i have a smaller diameter wheel, i can modify it to accommodate for the extra room i have.
Oh aight gotcha, strut shortening is a bitch haha
As for tires you can got 225/40 or 215/40 for a sweet stretch and get the perfect VW look of fender in between wheel and tire.
If it was me I'd run 205/40 on the 9s and 215/40 on the 10

hm, not sure if i posted them. fronts are 18x9 w/ 215/35/18 tires and a 2.5" lip. rears are 18x10 w/ 235/40/18 tires and a 3.5" lip. i think the offsets are 13+ and 5+ if i remember correctly.

i can source some 225/40s easily but i think i might run the 35s. according to the 235/40 i have now, 225/40 won't be much of a difference on the rear. it could be the michelin pilot sports though that are stretching horribly perhaps?

Oh didnt see that yours are 235/40 haha my bad. Then I'd say 215/40, and dont get michelins they dont stretch. I have Falken 452's and I love them. Personally I dislike 35s on 18s cause I feel the wheels bend easier
