17 pages suggests facination and approval on many levels, so I want to see how this ends (hopefully with no one except the car getting hurt).

I need to find pics of my Beetle now - wish it had a thumb height of clearance back then - pinky toe if I was lucky.

Can I assume the because the Miata is a convertible, the frame rails are artificially low compared to say a coupe or sedan because they need to support the center of the car from bowing in lieu of a top? That would be consistent with other verts I have wrenched on.

No doubt. Sounds like you have a solid understanding of laying frame with that background.
BUT do u think he cares that much really about a vehicle that is built to last? Not really. Like he says over and over he is living for the moment and enjoying every bit. Stanceworks sensation frame bangin fabel loving life and pushing his car, (dragging), his car to its limits.

Fabel IF you do make it, which i hope u will, the journey back home is not goin be fun lol

But honestly, he appears to have the chassis protection/ strengthening bits on there. The kind that Flying Miata makes.
