^ lucky thing I'm able to log on then, huh?
to be honest, I don't really know where I am. I thought I was in new york, but all the plates kep sayin' pennsylvania. whatev's. I'll figure it out by morning as I just cannot drive at night.
as far as the frame you guys keep talkin' about - look back to page 3, or 4, or 5 when I showed how I reinforced & boxed in the frame. Fluid helped me take it even further & tucked up some vital parts of the car, like you know, engine, transmission, exhaust, etc.
this isn't the type car Fluid Motor Union usually works on, but I knew them previously from another car I had & they jumped on with full support to my ideas. then they took it even further, cause they care about my safety, this journey as it's a 1st of its kind, & all that jazz. I <3 FMU

And now we can make a board game, "Where in the country are Miles and Fabel!?". Best of luck to ya man, looking forward to hearing from you.

Two questions for Mr Fabel:
Are you this eloquent in person, too?
Does the German spelling of fable mean you are German?

Not saying that is your intent but you are coming off as that.
You've got a really low car, but pull your head back out just a little bit man.
And "Frame Bangin' Fabel," from a creative writing major's perspective, has a good sound to it. It's a well-written title from an objective standpoint.

honestly, I could care less. I just wanna lay frame from my driveway all the way until the damn ocean stops me. if it's cool to you, then we're on the same level & if it's not, well . . . you're probably right. but lets be honest, there's not one car this weekend that will be understood by the general population, so again, we're all the same, just in different demeaners.
& I don't mean to refer to myself in third person, I just don't know how to refer to myself in 4th or 5th person. yet, that is.
again pimps, just relax. I really do appreciate every member I can think of on here & hope a bunch of us meet one another to talk about anything but miatas.
sorry my posts tend to go over the top, but I don't care to change for those that can't understand that this lifestyle is about havin' fun & playin road warrior much more than it is a disertation for your masters program.
chillio chicos.
THE INTERNATIONAL PRESS HAS A RIGHT TO KNOW
WE NEED TOTAL COVERAGE
...And for everybody else, every time you see Fabel on the road, or at H2O, get those pictures up here. This thread has already gained 10 pages since he arrived at Fluid, let's keep epic thread epic. I haven't seen this degree of polarization around a single car on StanceWorks in a long, long, long time.

wow!, some actual support - that's awesome. thanks guys. trust me, it's scary rollin' like this all by myself & for over 1,000 miles. so many stories, issues, & of course, sparks.
to the rest of you, come on now . . . you know you keep checkin' this sheit.you don't have to admit it, but secretly, you wanna know how frame bangin' FABEL be rollin' too. otherwise we wouldn't be at 23,000 views over a slammed slutty miata.
I promise it's okay to be nice to people. I thought SW was a 'community', now don't piss off Spastic & make him a liar because at the end of the day, we're all similar. we just execute this in different ways. besides, I thought this was StanceWorks where low is a lifestyle.
all I can think is that I took 'slam' so far for you guys, that FABEL made layin' frame uncool, even to the hardcore.

To Oxer's earlier point, he will grind away clearance using the pavement over time and will need moar low at some point. If he grinds enough away the center of the car will sag, doors will get difficult to shut, etc
