  • Cost Of Dubbin'

Maybe this could be a future place to put things like this? And by Dubbin, I mean stance in general.

    Raped my subframe today.

            Well thanks!

Anytime I leave a scrape mark, I think of your sig.

Or spark going down the road for that matter. Nothing beats looking in your rear view and seeing sparks.

Ouch. That's rough. Love your car btw.

There's a thread like this on (another forum for low cars) and it's like 15 pages of people's fenders destroyed and stuff. It made me really afraid to lower my car.
Need to rent a fender roller in Socal? PM me.

^ granted, but then its like if you have a performance car you know you will break parts (clutches, gearboxes, diffs, turbos, engines :O) but then in the low game you go through tyres, wheels, bushes, fenders, axles etc haha just have to pay to keep the aspect of the car you enjoy going...

but then when you start destroying subframes and chassis rails it gets complicated :/ coming from more of a VIP interest background, i notice some of the hardcore japanese workshop cars etc actually recess their chassis rails and do body drops etc so the bottoms of the cars are smooth..!

I hit one of those doing about 45-50. the city forgot to paint it so it could be seen. caught the lower radiator mount and ripped the radiator right out of the car. I was 3 hours away from home and had to wait and pay someone $100 to bring me a new radiator

Yeah it did. That part thats sticking down further back in the picture is the crease

Fuckin sucks. How much does a subframe go for anyways?

Not sure, but you might as well replace the bushings and bolts while your at it. Also check around the body mounts for bends, buckles, or cracked seam sealer (if there is a seam nearby). With a hit that hard, I wouldn't be surprised if there was more effed than just the subframe.

Good luck, love your car by the way.
