when mike was on, i ***** the car but understood why it was there. same with neek (loved the e21 tho) and every other PBMW car. with this car it has nothing special and no big HP engine so i find myself asking .. why is this in PBMW?
When Mike's E28 was first in PBMW, it had a rusted hood, suspension, sick wheels, and baller stance. Sean's car is an incredibly clean example of an E36 with custom suspension, impeccable paint, lots of custom interior work, and an original look that he made his own(first e36 on blades, or at least first that was made public along with the accents that continued the lime green theme) with baller stance. Neek's E21, of course, had a TON(and that's an understatement) of body work and interior work done. In the end, it is an incredibly clean car, with awesome wheels, suspension, and baller stance with a new motor swapped in it.

With that said, why wouldn't it be in PBMW?

congrats dude. partout or re-do everything next? or be one of the few who keep they're car relatively similar the the state in which it was featured?
Well, the plans to completely re-do the car were in the make before the feature came out so I plan to follow those plans. It actually vaguely talks about some of the plans in the article.

        Congrats.

And PBMW doesn't give plaques. You have to make it.
I've been meaning to make plaques for my articles so far but haven't done it yet.

I'm active on a lot of forums, but you sir, by far, are one of the most put-down type of person I have ever seen.

SeanDub, again, congrats on the dope car.

Big ups to Sean, but I can't fathom how you can seriously believe his E36 is comparable to either of those two cars.

Maybe Nic's car, which I said in my post had an insane amount of work done to it. Why is it not comparable to the Mike's E28 when it was first featured though?

Mike incorporated a style that was generally reserved for hot-rods and applied it to a platform few even bother modding. Granted, VW guys had been doing it long before Mike owned the E28, but IMO no other Euro car that replicated the rat-rod look ever reached the same iconic status of Rusty, even in it's earliest stage.

Don't get me wrong, I love Sean's car, but to me there is nothing cover-worthy about it.

what on it is cover worthy ? there is a million slammed e36's on better wheels with just as good of an exterior and motor.

what makes it stand out at all ? ... somebody give a good solid reason why this is cover worthy ?

Have you guys seen the work gone into his car? Or are you guys just assuming its just a drop and wheels? 'Cause its not.

Also, it looks just as good in person as it does in pictures, which is no easy feat
