Nice man. I know the suspension is different between the w115 and the w123 but I'm sure it should be around the same height with the same amount of coils cut. You look like you have a little forward rake going on. I want mine to be completely level.

yeah, I dont know the w115 suspension, but my guess is that it is fairly similar - non mcpherson style setup.

car is raked, but visually i think it works because of how much the fender extends below the trim line in the rear compared to the front.

also, when you do go to lower it, I know that the w123 has some heavy duty springs in the front, I would highly suggest getting the proper (telescoping/Klann style) spring compressor. I didnt have to unbolt anything in the front end to get the spring out other than take the wheels off

I don't know the differences exactly, but I know their are some because it is a lot easier to bag a w115 then a w123. I know it is "dangerous" but I might not even use a spring compressor to cut the springs. The rake looks good on your car, but I want my car to be level. I think it will look better for what I am going for with this car.

I would suggest again using one. if you want I could loan you mine, but your call.

yeah, looking at the wheel wells on your car, the rear is a lot less extreme below the trim like than a w123 is comparability front and rear. Im sure that you will figure it out and dial it in where you want.

Ya, I know I should use one, but we will see. Thanks, If I have any questions I'll be sure to hit you up.

Well, Once again I'm on the fence about whether to fix everything and hope nothing else out of my knowledge is wrong, or to get another car for a DD until I can get more cash flow to really get this project going. I found an e28 in great condition with only about 166,xxx miles. I'm going to go check it out this week and see if it measure up to it's description. If it does, then I might be driving an e28 for a while.

when i picked up the wheels, my goal was to set it up like the shopped picture of that car.

Dam, that photoshop is sexy. I'm trying to get it done soon. I might go ahead and start doin work before I fix the transmission problems. I mean, cutting the springs and removing the bumpers is free after all. I'm thinking about getting the top wrapped in vinyl.

I went and looked at a couple lexuses and didn't care too much for them. Nor do I care for their gas mileage. I'm pretty sure all I need to do is change out the master and slave cylinders and she will drive again, but I am not 100% sure, more like 95% sure. I also need to do a valve adjustment and change some gaskets to stop the oil leakage. Plus, I really wish I could get the a/c going. It gets hot as balls gere till late october. It is still at my uncles house, but this week i am going to get it towed to my house and start some work, order some parts. It will start taking shape soon.
