OP, i'm set on my next car being an LS e36, so I have a ton of respect for what you've done here. looks like you were able to accomplish it on a modest budget and did most of the work yourself! awesome!

Thanks alot guys for all the respect on the build! Of all the people that have seen this car or read about it on the forums I haven't come across anyone that hasn't liked the idea of the swap. :-) until now.. So with that said Mr.iwannabeam3 I'd like you to respectfully state your reasons. And I'll respectfully answer them as to why I did such a swap. Right now I can light a fire under your ass but everyone has their opinion and I respect that. Soo... What's your reasons? State them.. This will give others in this forum more insite and more to think about on the topic.

nice build. before seeing this thread i use to wonder what an e36 would be like with a 302 in it. you must have folks doing double takes when they see you coming and making all that rukus. good job.

Thanks man. Yeah it's awesome.. Great part about it is even with a double take some arnt lucky enough to hear it anymore becuse I can punch it then toss it in a higher gear and you won't hear anything from the tastefully looking e36 that just past them. My car parked you wouldn't have a clue from any angle.. I've tested this by having a person come by my house to buy parts. They had no idea.. They thought it was a 328is with a exhaust and electric fan upgrade
