I would love to swap a 302 like this into an E30, but apparently the wiring is a bitch. However, if you managed in an E36 without too much trouble I think the E30 would be doable.
Well to be honist I'm not sure how to answer that. What's hard to me maybe easy to you and vise versa. Swapping mounting and wiring wasn't hard at all to me.. The hardest part was the trail and error of doing something that hasn't been done before.. Atleast to my likeing. Trail and error is the most f$ked up version of expesive.

Did you make you own mounts? In terms of wiring, I have heard that the body harness for the fox body 302 is integrated into the engine harness in a weird way, so sorting out the wiring might be a PITA. Any truth to that rumor, or a couple days of sitting down with the harnesses and some good diagrams and you were go to go? Maybe a little of both? Haha. If you are around when i get around to this E30 project, I will definitely have a lot more questions, haha.

Lol nope nothing needs to be done with the interior harness other then bypassing EWS as far as the e36 goes. But alot of the wiring comes down to what your car came with and also which fox body harness you have. I'm not sure about the e30 but I'm sure with basic skills of reading wiring diagrams and understanding how each system works it shouldn't be impossible.
After I'm done with my car I will be offering plug and play wiring kits that plug in 1-2-3 start. Until then I need to go threw the prosess of figuring out other generations to make sure I have a quality product.
The mounts I bought from someone that worked near my job that had them custom made. I will also be offering mounts as soon as I get a chance to go over the blue prints I have made up to discuss a few things about the current design.

Well after waitting forever for ddm to ship my stuff here's a quick update.

                          Ddm and summit racing shippment

Angel eyes, M3 moldings, replacment gauges (current ones wasn't working right), and plenty of exhaust tubing to reroute my exhaust over the front subframe to make ground clearance for coils.

after coils I'm going to pick up a hood and grill for the car

oh yes it will be oem. The hood as a little bit of rust and the grill has a few dings I don't want to deal with fixing.
