      • Wired up the main power from the battery and put the battery on charge

Then cleaned up the underside of the bonnet as it was black from the exhaust leak and tapped up some of the big holes in the engine bay to stop dirt getting in.

Also tightened up the leaky brake line, so hopefully that fixed the issue, but will check for dampness tomorrow.

        Looking almost complete

Waiting for the battery to charge fully, so i can test all the electrics before i attempt to crank the engine or put the rest of the interior back in.

          • Finished up some of the vacuum hoses and bleed the brakes finding a few more leaks and fixing them.

She is back on the ground for now, waiting for the exhaust to be modified.

                    • I'll wait until I have a job again and then work on the Datsun

Might just keep a look out for an SR20 gearbox and drop my SR in there since my friend welder should be able to make me engine mounts instead of paying $1k for the mount kit.

                          • My friend modified my dump/front pipe for me with a flex joint.

So I can now fit it back on my car and hopefully start it...

                            • Went to mount the exhaust onto the car today.
Noticed a water leak from the turbo braided line.

Had to pull the turbo manifold off the motor to reach the water line, then pieced everything back together and put the exhaust on.

Plugged in the O2 sensor and CAS, gave it a crank and she lives.

Purrs like an angry tiger. <3

I took her for a spin on bald tires to check the brakes and etc.
The brakes are still spongy and need more bleeding, but still stop the car.
The tie rod end is worn out and needs replacing.

No water leaks or oil leaks have been found, which is best news.

Going to drive it down to a friend to help me bleed the brakes properly tomorrow.
