    Haha, mad dorito status.

Nah, I'm just going for a square set, that's all.

Wheels are sitting in my room. I'm waiting on some more cash, then they'll go out for powder coating, get tires, and spacers.

After that there's going to be a bit of a lull in progress; this car needs some serious attention as far as the front steering linkage is concerned.

Understandable. I just did control arms and tie rods on mine.
Did you decide on wheel color? Ivory still? Or the army tan?

The wheels will be Ivory (or whatever off-white the powder coating guys have on hand). Basically I'll be getting the two 9s done, throw them on, then save up and pull my original 9s and have them done to match. I guess those 17x8s will be useful after all, ha ha.

Hopefully a Zender rear spoiler and E28 M5 front lip will happen within the next four months as well.

                        Cashflow issues, haha.
I'm putting a deposit down for a Zender rear on Friday, then next Friday I'm paying that off and hopefully sending the two extra 9s off for powdercoating.

What struts are you running, if you don't mind me asking?

Bilstein Sports all around. H&R Sport springs with three or four coils cut off of the front. Lowest setting in the rear.

How's the ride? Are the bilsteins as harsh as on other chassis?

I ask because I want to lower mine, and and searching for schock options.

                              Thanks

The ride is stiff, but not harsh. It all depends on what you are used to, though. It's always a trade-off, but if you're on this forum, I'm sure you'll be able to cope with the ride.

Bad news everyone: the car will be down for a bit. I hydrolocked the motor and snapped a piston. Rather than fixing it, I'm going to swap the motor now. It'll be another month or so before progress is made, but it'll be worth it.
