It really looks a whole lot better lowered.
Don't change the color combo, for real.

Ordered a bunch of new parts. Got a front lip on the way, new muffler, a bunch of more maintenance parts, and more materials to make more progress on the interior. Got the car back today and took the chance to test fit the spacers since it finally stopped raining. So far the fitment looks spot on the fenders still need to be rolled but it seems like it should clear fine.

And now i have two semi useless cars

On another note, does anyone know anyone that has a 17x9 style 5 barrel they want to sell?

Doesnt quite seem like mold, but it could be. Going to need to find some new door cards for sureOriginally posted by 19birel View PostAlmost looks like mold at the bottom of the door cards, I would probably try to source new ones if possible.

New front suspension is in, definately tightened up the feel ok the front end. Next step is to get the coils on. Did a tune up and swapped out the filter, was hopeing for a bit more sound but it sounds exactly the same

Decided to pull of the rear door cards to prep them. It was surprisingly easy considering they were only being held on by one lonely screw. All the clips were long gone and it was nice to find more of that lovely deterioration. Not sure if it's water damage or what
but the bottom of these door card basically feels soft and flexible like leather. Might be smarter to see if I can find some replacements at the junkyard

Thanks, it was super easy to do. Feels pretty nice to the touch also just curious to see how long it'll hold up. And the more I think about it the less I want to pull the dash lol .Originally posted by 19birel View PostWow that flocking turned out nicely, I'm going to have to look into that for my MKIV,
Your interior has already come such a long way, can't wait to see more progress. As for the dash, probably best to leave it in given the age of the car and all the plastics- assuming you can still achieve a nice result trying to flock in-car.

It seems pretty durable only time will tell. I feel like it should hold up decently well since it's only going to be on the dash and center console which won't get touched that often. It looks like sem camel or palomino might be a close match. I've got a few cans of those coming in the mail to compare.Originally posted by hinrichs View PostThe flocking looks great, does it feel like it will hold up being touched? I need to look when I get home, I feel like I might have some interior paint that is damn close to those seats, but I could be very far off. Check with eastwood, they sell some vinyl paint in lots of colors and I painted seats something similar years ago. Doing the dash in place might not be a bad idea if your having that many problems with things breaking. I dealt with that trying to fix my friends E10 center console.
Edit: https://www.eastwood.com/camel-inter...-12oz-net.html Thats the paint I used on my seats.
