Any reason for not running the style 5 center caps? Someone made nice aluminum replacements, not sure if they are still available.

So the rest of the parts arrived. VAC seat moubts, everything lines up perfectly. The seats seem extremely low so I'm going to have to look into some ways to raise them up a bit.

Finally got the VC gasket, and tires so that'll be a project for next weekend.

Lol thanks! Stay tuned going to be alot of interesting choices going forward. The seats seems pretty nice, it'll take a few months of driving to see how they hold up.

So the seats arrived. No name eBay specials. Overall they seem pretty sturdy. Pretty much the exact color I plan on dyeing the interior to.

Going to be using VAC Motorsports seat brackets to mount them. They should be here tomorrow

It's been about 3 weeks now waiting on the VC gasket, ign could, Sparks plugs and a few other things. They are supposed to be delivered Saturday though so we shall see.

    Happy New Year's everyone!

And it's back on the road, got it running well enough to get emissions and get it registered. They let me know that after this year it won't need emissions or anything ever again.

Had a bit of free time so I made a shift knob out of some oak wood from a tree I had cut down, going to stain it to match the oem knob.

Caught a break between the rain and cold weather it wash it up and take it for a few drives. Fires right up, idle seems solid, temperature gauge stays right in the middle so it's looking like I've worked out most of the issues. Going to swap out the coil packs when I get around to changing the valve cover. It takes alot of effort to get into 2nd and 3rd gear so I'm guessing I'm going to need a new clutch sooner than later.

And lastly finished the wheels, going to get some 255/45 tires and than I'll get the coils on by the weekend or next week at the latest

So I cleaned the ICV, changed the fuel filter, and swapped out the spark plugs which got it running again for it short while. seems like I can drive it a few miles than it will get a rough idle, than it will stall out. So I ordered a new fuel pump, since the coilovers have to be welded in I decided to let the shop handle the rest of the front suspension install, and swap out the fuel pump while they are at it.

Started breaking down the wheels, polishing the lips. The plan is to go with some all black hardware. Ill be ordering a stud conversion so im going to be running these wheels without the hex covers.

I feel your spring rates will be very very soft if you want to go super low, when I was looking into e34s I've learnt most static stancebois use 20-24k springs. May not be an issue if you don't fit super-wide wheels tho
Thanks, I plan on picking up another set of style 19s in the future. Going to step them to 18x10 and 18x10.5 most likely. I polished the last set I had, definitely considering going chrome this time around though. 20k seems awfully high, ive run 10k/8k in the past and that was more than stiff enough. If these springs are to soft swapping them out will be simple enough though.

Yea just a few extra steps, I know a couple of shops that should be up for the task though, but thanks I'm hoping to keep it really clean but aggressive.
