I can't honestly say I wouldn't drive a 540Ti haha, That thing is going to be quick in n e30, is the donor car an M Sport or just a 6 speed model?

It was an M-Sport Car I believe. Here was the donor car before it was wrecked

First steps to transplanting the M62tu in to the e30 was to remove it from the donor 540i. So I spend the a weekend stripping the salvageable parts off the car and began removing the engine and cradle.




If they had made a e39 Compact I think this is what it would look like

Hello StanceWorks!

Started building a sweet V8 BMW about a year ago and figured I'd start a build thread to document what I have been doing.

I'll start with the Donor Car 2002 540i 6 speed, thoroughly wrecked in the back end;



Here is the car to receive bmw V8, starting out life as a 1987 325is



Here is the car as it sits right now, just needing a few things tidied up.

I will continue to go back through all the photos I took with my phone and camera and try go step by step the best I can.
