today i pulled the bed off again to get the bottom of the bed floor and i also got the watts link in the mail from BC Fab and so i put that on tonight to and got that dialed and couldn't be more happy with it.
with the brace cut off the watts link started going on quickly. before making the bottom bar and mounting the brackets i had to get the old pan hard bar cut off
today was a mild day on the truck. i had all the measurements for the mounts on the bed and so i got to cutting some tubing and modifying some of the bars that i already cut for some slight design changes. i also cut the pieces that i need for the center hiding section of the bed.
today i put together the M3s suspension that was taking up room on the lift and pulled my truck in to get some stuff on the underside tidied up and while i did that my dad got to welding the under side of my bed.
tomorrow i am going to get under the rear bags supported, make shock mounts for the rear, and put in my shocks all around and then finish up the raised bed floor and some other super minor stuff and that thing is ready to get out of there
and then its on to the extremely time consuming part of body work and paint...
today i worked on my truck for a while and i still have some stuff to do but put he bed on there. its not mounted up but its sitting there and ready to go.
as things always go on building cars they never get done when you think they are. so i still haven't gotten my truck out of my dads garage but its fine because its giving me some time to make sure everything is all exactly how it should be and fits great. i have a little adjustments to do to the watts link and a few other things. and still need to weld on shock mounts and what not.
the garage is an absolute mess right now because we just got done stripping a 2003 avalanche for 2 other projects going on and on the right you can't see it but under that stuff is a full C10 chassis with all tubular porter build suspension and an LS1. after we get my truck out then we can clean it up
